Gillibrand's fiery language Friday prompted cheers and applause from those gathered for the Personal Democracy Forum, a New York City conference of political activists and tech enthusiasts.

"Has he kept any of these promises?" When questions about President Trump came up, Gillibrand started dropping the F-bomb. "No. F**k, no", Gillibrand said, AP's Steven Peoples reports.

CORRECTION: This story was updated to clarify that the Personal Democracy Forum took place at New York University.

YAS! We wanna see her bring that NY sass to CNN!

Gillibrand was first elected to the Senate in 2010 to replace Hillary Clinton when the latter became secretary of state.

She dropped the four-letter word again during her speech, saying "Fundamentally, if we're not helping people, we should go the fuck home". Gillibrand's fucking fantastic speech (below)!

Kirsten Gillibrand is using salty language to express her frustration with Washington politics. The media is picking up on her use of f*** though and we can bet some sources (Fox News *ahem*) will have something righteous to say about it.

However, she didn't just lay into Trump, but also critiqued the Democratic Party for their failure to reach a large swath of working-class Americans.

"Sorry", she said after the audience laughed and cheered on the expletive.
