Daniel Bryan: WWE Badly Needs "A Change Of Presentation"

Daniel Bryan has had a busy week and it's only Tuesday. Bryan is rumored to make a SummerSlam announcement but will be addressing the controversial finish to the women's Money In the Bank Ladder Match after James Ellsworth helped Carmella win.

Bryan will be returning to WWE tonight after being granted eight weeks of paternity leave.

Daniel Bryan and CM Punk were two of the best Superstars back in their day, and I would love to see them return to in-ring action in the WWE. And I, when we're in the hospital, try to change every diaper.

"Years ago, [WWE] went through with this idea of having as much live stuff as possible on the shows, but I think when you watch say UFC for example, some of the things that are the most endearing, that make you care the most about the fighters are these backstage vignettes that show their real personality".

"I think one of the things that really endeared me to people was that people got to view more aspects of my personality than most because of the different things that I did within WWE".

He said: "In combat sports, personalities are what draw".

"I think changing that dynamic and highlighting the personalities is something we really need to do. I look forward to keeping making you guys proud be it on American soil, Indian soil, in Japan, in China or all over the world, it doesn't matter, because in my heart I represent India all the time and I am very proud to be WWE champion", added Mahal after the fierce battle for retaining the title.

"Mahal made it his business to target the biggest dog in the yard from his first days in WWE when he confronted the towering Great Khali". This is great, but characters change, brands don't. Current and retired wrestlers have offered helpful critique or scathing opinions, but they're all saying the same thing: Something isn't right.

The outlet reports that Bryan believes that if the WWE is going to keep up with the promotions involving UFC and boxing, they're going to have to be more transparent with their advertisements because fancy "flash and dash" isn't going to cut it anymore.
