Trump also cherry-picked the facts to imply that the Obama administration actually chose the actions it took because they "didn't want to hurt Hillary" - rather than going out of its way to ensure its actions would not affect the election while Trump was actively accusing Democrats of "rigging" it. In just three days, he has made eight public statements about Russian meddling in the 2016 United States presidential election. There is no collusion & no obstruction. "I should be given apology!" the president charged.

"The reason that President Obama did NOTHING about Russian Federation after being notified by the Central Intelligence Agency of meddling is that he expected Clinton would win, and did not want to "rock the boat".

US President Donald Trump gestures to members of the media gathered in the Rose Garden at the White House in Washington, June 26, 2017.

An official from Obama's White House, who spoke on condition of anonymity, rejected Trump's criticism and noted that Obama had raised the meddling issue directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin. With 4 months looking at Russian Federation...

The day that article was published, Trump moved from outright denial to misdirection, trying to cast blame on Obama and his administration, insisting that people should "Focus on them, not T!". I should be given apology!

In January, Trump acknowledged Russia had hacked the Democratic Party but he has since referred to investigations into Russian election meddling as a hoax or witch hunt.

Though U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded that the Russian meddling was meant to help Trump, the president said Obama's inaction on the matter was meant to help Democrats.

The Justice Department, FBI and Senate and House Intelligence committees are probing possible links between Trump's team and the Kremlin.

Trump holds his first solo press conference as president.

In a Fox News interview broadcast on Sunday, Trump said he had learned that Obama had known about the Russian Federation issue long before the election but that he "did nothing about it".

"There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America's elections, in part because they're so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved", Obama said in October. And I hardly see it.

Johnson specifically cited Trump's repeated claims on the campaign trail that the system was "rigged" against him. "I think the idea was that you had Hillary Clinton with a secret server, that was very clear about what she had done to evade it, and I think that's probably a bigger concern right now in terms of what they were doing, and the lack of security that they had". All they do is delay and complain.

Many Democrats and some Republicans have spoken out against the Senate's healthcare plan since it was unveiled.
