Aaron Carter slams brother Backstreet Boys star Nick after DUI arrest

Pop singer Aaron Carter criticized his famous brother this week, shortly after Nick Carter reached out to his sibling via social media. He said, 'You're a professional, right?

"I opened for Michael Jackson Sept. 9 and 10 in 2001 - we all left the morning of Sept. 11 and watched the Trade Centers get hit across the Hudson River, and I saw it with my own eyes and I saw people jumping out of the buildings and burned", Carter said, explaining that he's afraid of flying.

"Aaron and girlfriend Madison are continuing their travels and deeply apologize for any inconvenience this legal matter may have caused his fans along the tour dates he has not been able to make", the statement continued.

"I don't need help", he concluded. "We all left the morning of September 11 and watched the Trade Centers get hit across the Hudson River, and I saw it with my own eyes and I saw people jumping out of the buildings and burned", Carter said. "What I need is for people to understand that I'm human and I make mistakes just like every other human in this world". "I don't need help", he claimed. However, despite all of this, Aaron said that he will always love his brother and he will always have "forgiveness in my heart for you".

Just days after he was taken into police custody on charges of DUI refusal, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and possession of drug related objects, the singer spoke out about the incident and refuted claims he was intoxicated at the time of his arrest. His bail was set at $4,610, and he was released on bond around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

But the "Sooner or Later" singer said he wasn't looking for help from Nick or anyone else. He was pulled out of the store, he said, and told officers he had marijuana in the vehicle.

For those critics who say he needs rehab, he has a message. When I was 19 years old, I got an endoscopy done in Tennessee and I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia (stomach condition).

Whilst the interview does very little to shed light on Carter's troubles (and we're not sure if that's due to Aaron himself or the notoriously shallow EW), one thing's clear and that's that Aaron is going through some shit right now and looks in need of desperate support.

"I smoke it for anxiety", he said. He steadfastly contended that he does not use any other drugs - except for Xanax, propranolol for his high blood pressure and Oxycodone for a recent jaw injury.
