Heyer was among the group protesting against the Unite the Right white supremacist rally at the weekend, where Nazi symbols and salutes were seen, when she was hit by a vehicle allegedly driven by James Alex Fields Jr into a crowd.

On Sunday GoDaddy announced on Twitter that the site had 24 hours to find another domain provider as it had violated the terms of service for its support in organizing the white supremacy rally over the weekend.

GoDaddy corporate spokesman Dan Race told the Washington Post that the article violated its terms of service.

"We have all the details on the servers and will be releasing the data when we feel the time is right", Anonymous said on the Daily Stormer website.

After spotting the article about Heyer, people on Twitter called on The Daily Stormer's domain's host GoDaddy to take it down.

The article disparaged 32-year-old Heather Heyer who was killed when she was struck by a vehicle driven into crowds who were protesting against a rally of white supremacists in the Virginia town.

Shortly after the article denigrating Hayers appeared on the Daily Stormer's website, the web-hosting company gave Anglin 24 hours to move his domain to another provider.

A Google spokesperson confirmed Monday that it, too, has cancelled The Daily Stormer's web domain application, saying, "We are cancelling Daily Stormer's registration with Google Domains for violating our terms of service".

GoDaddy, the world's largest internet domain seller, has been criticized for hosting a domain name for a website "dedicated to spreading anti-Semitism, neo-Nazism, and white nationalism", according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The neo-Nazi site has been given 24 hours to find a new host, otherwise it will be taken offline by GoDaddy. However, no mention of the fact that GoDaddy had already threatened to drop Daily Stormer was made.

Andrew Anglin, the founder of Daily Stormer, did not respond to requests for comment.
