The body of missing Temple University student Jenna Burleigh was found Saturday afternoon in Wayne County, Philly.com reports.

The body was found in Paupack Township, police said on Saturday, and officials believed it was transported from Philadelphia to Jenkintown and then to Wayne County.

Jenna Burleigh, 22, of Harleysville, was last seen in the area of Pub Webb at 1527 Cecil B. Moore Avenue around 2 a.m. Thursday.

Police said Burleigh's body was found on a lakefront property belonging to Hupperterz's grandmother in Hawley, about 140 miles from Philadelphia. Joshua Hupperterz, 29, is in police custody. Police say he was the last person seen with Burleigh.

In his statement to police, Hupperterz "admitted to elements of the crime", Philadelphia Police said during the press conference.

"Now I know for sure that you can have a 'broken heart, ' he wrote".

Late Friday night, police responded to a home on the 1700 block of North 16 Street, almost a block from where Burleigh was last seen.

When asked about the suspec'ts legal history, police said he had "prior contact with law enforcement". VIDEO: Police search home in Jenkintown, Pa.

Police went there after receiving "credible information that led us to that location", she said. According to Zazyczny, the man said in the interview he and Burleigh parted ways later that night, and he hasn't seen her since.

Temple police are working with Lower Salford and Philadelphia police.

Ross said Saturday that while police do suspect Burleigh was murdered, a cause of death has not yet been determined. She reportedly transferred from Montgomery County Community College to the university for the fall semester.
