'Julie 2' actress Raai Laxmi dated this star cricketer?

No objections! Sacked CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani to present Raai Laxmi's bold film 'Julie 2'

No objections! Sacked CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani to present Raai Laxmi's bold film 'Julie 2'

Recently Pahlaj Nihalani was relieved from the responsibilities of Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and hell broke loose. Nihlani, often criticised for censoring the content of the films, will this time be "presenting" the upcoming "bold, lovely and blessed" sequel to the 2004 Neha Dhupia's erotic film, Julie.

The man who objected to the word "intercourse" in Shah Rukh Khan's film Jab Harry Met Sejal offered this defence: "That was U/A (unrestricted public exhibition, subject to parental guidance for children below the age of twelve)". The decision was taken considering his selection of films and never-ending controversies. As its titillating trailer was launched here on Monday, he defended it as an "adult family entertainer" which reveals the reality of the film industry, even as the Twitterati laughed away at the irony of the "sanskaari citizen". Now, the sequel Julie 2 is directed and produced by Deepak Shivdasani along with Vijay Nair. Can Raai Laxmi's oozing oomph and liberal skin show help Julie 2 to set the cash registers ringing?

Nihalani was last month replaced by writer and ad man Prasoon Joshi as the CBFC chief. And much to the curiosity of the film lovers, Pahlaj Nihalani will be seen distributing South Indian actress Raai Laxmi's Bollywood erotic thriller Julie 2: Bold, Beautiful and Blessed. "People are reacting as though Julie 2 is a foul word". "There is no vulgarity, obscenity or even a language problem", he told media. However, it seems like Mr. Nihalani has finally taken off his mask of conservatism as he is now associated with erotic thriller Julie 2. The film is featuring Raai Laxmi, marking to be the debut film who is flashing her curves and edging. "It's a good expose with a message for aspiring actors who come from across the country".
