Prince George on school: Been there, done that

During a visit to Milton Keynes to celebrate the new town's 50th anniversary, William reportedly told mother-of-two Louise Smith, 31, about the four-year-old's reluctance.

A few weeks ago, Prince William joked that he was waiting to see how long it would be before his son Prince George realised he had to go to school every day. Also the woman said that she met Prince William, when he took George on a regular school day: "He said that George doesn't want to go to school, but he made him and literally left him there, quickly escaped to the vehicle".

Speaking to guests at a charity reception and awards ceremony for the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund at London's Guildhall on Wednesday, Prince William said Kate was "feeling better" but the ginger hadn't helped much.

"We are all seeing how long that lasts before he doesn't want to go", the prince said on his son's first day. "Sounds a bit like mine really", she added. Instead, the school uniform can only be purchased in department store Peter Jones in Sloane Square. He said that the school drop-off line every morning can get very boring for a 4-year-old and they have to wait like every other family.

This time she has turned towards age-old remedies to help her cope with to nausea, Prince William has revealed.

We're sure royal bump watchers have marked their calendars and will be transfixed on the Duchess, who we hope will be well enough for the important event.

Despite this, all sounding absolutely fit for a royal, Will and Kate decision to send George here is quite controversial as royals don't usually attend mixed gender schools and opt for single gender schools instead.

Little wonder, then, that Prince George is finding school a little heavy-going.
