Week 5 Running Back Rankings

It will be happening at the Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

23rd regular-season meeting.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are unsure whether receiver Marqise Lee will play Sunday at Pittsburgh.

The Steelers offense is ranked 20th in the National Football League this season, but more is expected from the unit.

There is a lot riding on fresh players this match for the Jaguars.

Jacksonville (3-2) beat the Steelers for the first time in a decade by relying heavily on the NFL's top-ranked pass defense. On offense, Jacksonville averages 27.3 points and 331.8 yards per game.

Despite the loss last week, the Jaguars are off to their best start since 2010 at 2-2.

As has been the case through recent years, the issues with the Jaguars begin and end with quarterback Blake Bortles.

With 1:33 remaining in the first quarter, Ramsey intercepted a pass from Roethlisberger, which was intended for tight end Vance McDonald. But that means the Steelers have to stop Fournette. And Le'Veon Bell's 47 yards on 15 carries didn't elicit much faith in a Steelers offensive line that was punishing people just a year ago.

Following the Fournette run, the Jaguars were in the red zone. Last Sunday saw Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger have a slight war of words after a blowup on the sideline from Brown. The Steelers moved 45 yards on six plays, including a 25-yard catch by receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and a 23-yard catch and run by Brown (Ramsey missed tackle).

Bell also added four receptions for 42 yards.

Forget finding the long-overdue explosion: The Steelers simply can't count on gaining yards on teams any more.

-RB Leonard Fournette vs. Steelers LBs Ryan Shazier and Vince Williams. Pittsburgh has won three straight meetings with the Jags and the Steelers have covered the spread in three of the last four meetings. The two plays were the catalysts for the win. Even more impressively: Carolina has just two combined flags in its previous two games. Fournette will need to have a big game in order for the Jaguars to win. It's only a matter of time before his time runs out as the starting QB of this team. Fowler made two plays in NY last Sunday that could have reversed the outcome.

"There is a reason why he is a Pro Bowl running back", Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said. The Jaguars didn't recover the fumble deep in Jets territory.

Flacco finished the game completing 31 of 49 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. He is tied for third in the AFC with seven TD passes.

Bortles has limited options in the passing game. In his past 12 home games, he has 110 catches (9.2 per game) for 1,383 yards (115.3 per game) and 12 TDs.

Chances are the Steelers will eventually figure it out.
